Many LX models, and some GX models, use a height-adjustable suspension. A car that sits low on one corner after it has been parked, a height warning on the dashboard, or a harsh ride over speed bumps needs the system read and checked for leaks before any part is quoted. We also replace worn control arms, bushes, links and shock absorbers, and finish with a wheel alignment.
Lexus SUVs and sedans use automatic gearboxes with six to ten speeds, and the LX and GX add a transfer case for four-wheel drive. A delayed shift, a jerk when changing gear or a vibration at highway speed is read with live data and a road test before anything is replaced.
Coolant loss, a rising temperature gauge, or AC that blows warm at midday. We pressure-test the cooling system to find the leak before quoting, and on the AC we look for the leak first, because recharging a leaking system does not last.
