We process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and the principles of lawfulness, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation and security.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive personal data (such as ID documents or payment card numbers) through the website forms or WhatsApp.
When you first visit velokar.net a banner lets you Accept or Reject non-essential cookies. Analytics and advertising tags (Google, Microsoft Clarity, Meta, Metricool) are loaded through Google Tag Manager and follow Google Consent Mode v2 signals. Your choice is stored in your browser (key vk_consent) so we do not ask again on every page. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, after which the banner appears again. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to book, call or message us.
We do not sell your personal data. Some of the providers above process data outside the UAE; we rely on their contractual and security commitments when they do.
Customer and vehicle records are kept for 24 months after your last visit, unless UAE law requires a longer period (for example, tax and accounting records for invoices). Website enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for the same period at most. Analytics and advertising data follow the retention settings of the tools named above.
We send marketing messages (service reminders, seasonal offers) only if you tick the consent box or tell us in writing that you want them. You can withdraw at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp or by emailing info@velokar.net; we will stop within one week. Messages that are part of your repair (quotes, approvals, ready-for-collection notices) are not marketing and continue as long as the job is open.

Our website is served over HTTPS. Workshop and customer records are kept in access-controlled systems available only to staff who need them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information you do not need to share.
Our services are for vehicle owners and drivers, and our website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18; if you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy when our services or tools change. The effective date at the top shows the latest version; material changes will be announced on this page.

لا نرسل رسائل تسويقية (تذكيرات صيانة، عروض موسمية) إلا إذا فعّلت خانة الموافقة أو أخبرتنا كتابةً أنك تريدها. يمكنك الانسحاب في أي وقت بالردّ بكلمة STOP على واتساب أو بمراسلة info@velokar.net، ونتوقف خلال أسبوع. أما الرسائل المتعلقة بإصلاح سيارتك (عروض الأسعار والموافقات وإشعار جاهزية الاستلام) فليست تسويقاً وتستمر ما دام العمل مفتوحاً.
لممارسة أي من هذه الحقوق راسلنا على info@velokar.net أو واتساب 054 666 4838. قد نطلب منك تأكيد هويتك أولاً.
يُخدَّم موقعنا عبر HTTPS. وتُحفظ سجلات الورشة والعملاء في أنظمة محكومة الوصول لا يصل إليها إلا الموظفون الذين يحتاجونها. ولا توجد وسيلة نقل أو تخزين آمنة تماماً، فتجنّب إرسال معلومات حساسة لا تحتاج إلى مشاركتها.
