Inside the car we offer cleaning only. Interior car cleaning is available, but we do not do upholstery, headliner or interior refurbishment work. If that is what you need, we will say so at the start rather than take the job.
We look at every panel and both headlights under bright, even light. Swirls, scratches, hazy patches, old repairs and chips are noted and shown to you, so you know what you are starting with and what can realistically be improved.
The car is washed by hand, then the paint is cleaned of what a normal wash leaves behind — tar, iron dust from the brakes and bonded dirt. Polishing over dirt only grinds it into the paint.
We choose the lightest step that gets the result, because every pass removes a little clear coat. Paint in fair condition gets a polish; paint with swirls and light scratches gets correction on the panels that need it. We write down which panels and why.
Cloudy lenses are restored, then the paint is finished with wax or, if you choose it, prepared and coated with ceramic. You get a written record of the work done.
Gloss is easy to fake for a day with fillers and glaze. That is why we show you the paint before and after under the same light, and why our report says what was polished, what was corrected and what could not be fixed by polishing. A scratch that has gone through the clear coat into the colour needs paint work, not more polishing — our denting and painting is done in our own paint booth, colour-matched to the factory paint code.
